Considering I'm from country that has a lot of holidays and traditions, therefore in our lives where everyone has duties and jobs to do, as everywhere else even in Serbia the holidays are one of the few days we can sit with all of our family members and spend some family time with them, so I've figured to take camera in the woods when our holiday "Badnji dan" comes, which is one day before christmas eve. Badnji dan presents "sacrifice" to the Gods, because we in the older times were pagans, and now in Orthodox way we reflect those old traditions, and give sacrifices in the forms of bread, our domestic drink "Rakija" which is product from plums, and wheat and we cut 2-3 small trees of Oak. This tradition presents something beautiful, not in the way of legends and myths, but exactly that, family, walk in the woods and honoring old times.
